Busy as Bees here at Wits End

Sunday, August 21, 2022

Well, after attending music festivals three of the last four weekends, we're back to work at Wits End, with two new shows to announce and two others to promote.

Here's the new shows:

Fresh off an incredible 'guitar-hero' weekend at Trout Forest Music Festival, Chris Carmichael is teaming up with another favorite of ours, Jamie Buckboro, for an evening of cool songs and hot guitars in our living room on Thursday, November 17. We're calling the duo Carbuckle.

Tickets for this one are $25. Seating is limited to 35. Doors at 6:45 | Show at 7:30.

December 8 sees the infectiously fun Mark Reeves play the living room solo. Long a stalwart on the Winnipeg music scene, Mark blends originals and covers across mutiple styles. We posted this show on Facebook and our Wits End website this morning and we're already 75% booked.

Tickets are $20. Seating is limited to 35. Doors at 6:45 | Show at 7:30.

Updates on previously announced shows:

Leaf Rapids is with us on September 8 for our last backyard show of the season. 70% of the spots have been reserved, so don't hesitate or you may be too late. P.S. if you've never seen / heard a theremin, this is an ideal chance.

Tickets are $25. Seating is limited to 50. Gate opens 6:00 | Show at 7:00.

Rumour Mill from BC is with us in the living room on October 18. This duo of mutli-talented, multi-instrumentalists is sure to WOW you. In town to record their sophomore album, we're lucky to be able to host them for a show.

Tickets are $20. Seating is limited to 35. Doors at 6:45 | Show at 7:30.

As always, RSVP ian.mattey@gmail.com for spots.
